We follow the most up to date Government, HSE, FAIB and Resuscitation Council Guidelines and review our practice accordingly.
Please DO NOT attend training should you be displaying any symptoms of COVID-19. Details of these symptoms can be found here: https://www.nhs.uk/conditions/coronavirus-covid-19/symptoms/
We are continuing to run our training courses whilst operating stringent safety measures.
Face masks were worn when accessing and egressing our training venues and whilst moving around inside the venue. Masks may be removed when delegates are sitting during training. Our instructors will also remove theirs whilst training but will wear a mask when moving around assisting training.
Those who have a medical exemption will not be required to wear a face-covering, you can find out more about exemptions on https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/face-coverings-when-to-wear-one-and-how-to-make-your-own
This will apply in all training venues used by Crusaider First Aid and Mental Health & Wellbeing.
We will measure your temperature, using a contactless infra-red thermometer upon your arrival at our training venues. Please note, you will be asked to leave should your temperature be considered high (above 37.8 C) by our staff.
Please scan our Track & Trace QR code upon your arrival at our training centres. Information of how the system works can be found here: https://www.gov.uk/guidance/nhs-test-and-trace-how-it-works
Regular and thorough hand sanitising is carried out throughout our courses and as you enter the building. Please familiarise yourself with the locations of the various sanitising stations.
We will continue to thoroughly sanitise and disinfect our resuscitation manikins after each delegate's use. These manikins are maintained to the highest standards of hygiene during and between courses.
We are implementing social distancing measures between everyone at all times during the course and require the same of delegates during breaks. To do this we have reduced class sizes dependent on the size of the room.
We will ensure all training rooms are adequately ventilated at all times. This may mean the room temperature is cooler than usual. Please bring additional clothing if you feel you may require it.
All Crusaider training venues are thoroughly sanitised and disinfected before and after courses, with particular attention paid to common touching surfaces, such as, chairs, door handles, toilets and sinks.
All Crusaider training venues and courses are thoroughly risk assessed in line with FAIB and HSE requirements.
